New Magazine Encourages Young People to be Themselves

A new online magazine encourages creative self-expression and self-acceptance in tween/teen girls. The full-scale, family oriented, monthly publication entitled Young-Expressions Magazine is aimed primarily at American and Canadian girls between 10 and 18 years and is available solely on the Internet at no cost to the reader.

January 20, 2005 -- A new magazine published by the lectron Publishing Group encourages creative self-expression and self-acceptance in tween/teen girls and projects a circulation of over 1,000,000 readers within six months without using a single sheet of paper. The full-scale, family oriented, monthly publication entitled Young-Expressions Magazine is aimed primarily at American and Canadian girls between 10 and 18 years and is available solely on the Internet at no cost to the reader.

The magazine was created to assist young people in finding and learning to appreciate being themselves. says Conceptual Editor and Chief Photographer Lukas de Saint-Clair. Our goal is to encourage self-awareness, self-confidence, self-acceptance, and creative self-expression in our young readers. Everyone is beautiful, but not everyone can see that. We hope to help bring this fact to light to many readers.

lectron Publishing Group, an independent electronic publishing company, developed the magazine to fill a void in the Internet. We noticed that there are actually few places where you can get interesting high-quality information without finding something obscene, inappropriate, or teaser sites designed only to sell you a paper magazine. says Managing Editor Lisa R. All are wonderfully illustrated by established professional photographers and illustrators. Additionally, there can be found a great assortment of regulars such as music, film and video game reviews, horoscopes, and advice columns.

Unlike normal paper publications, Young-Expressions Magazine is an interactive monthly and regularly publishes reader contributions on a live-wire basis via a moderated real-time message board incorporated within the magazine.
